Wellness Center at General Hospital

The Wellness Center is a 42,000 square foot Tenant Improvement project located within the 18-story Historic General Hospital in Boyle Heights, which was decommissioned as a Hospital in 2007.

This initial project transforms a portion of the first floor of the old hospital layout into a Regional Hub for Health Care related Non-Profit Organizations including:

American Heart Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Arthritis Foundation, American Diabetes Association, LA County Department of Health Services/Public Health/Mental Health, LIVESTRONG, Building a Healthy Boyle Heights, YMCA, East LA Women’s Center, Maternal & Child Health Access, Jovenes, Proyecto Jardin, Mexican American Opportunity Foundation, Worker Education & Resource Center and Neighborhood Legal Services.

The Project Completion will be in Fall 2013. The Wellness Center will also have an extensive landscape program, currently being designed by Amigos de los Rios.
